NEW YORK (CNS) -- The moral issues of "My Sister's Keeper" (New Line) are laid out for us even before the opening credits have finished rolling.

Two-hundred-forty volunteers from 18 parishes in the Youngstown Diocese will be in New Orleans until August 1 helping to rebuild a home destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.The first volunteers arrived May 2.

When the Diocese of Youngstown reported that Father Thomas Crum was removed from ministry due to a credible allegation of sexual abuse of a minor more than 30 years ago, diocesan officials asked that anyone who was abused, or who knew of someone who was abused, come forward. This week, two more allegations against Father Crum have been reported to the diocese. The diocese is working with the families to extend outreach and reconciliation.
